**Please note there are currently two director vacancies - one for Mountain Training UK and Ireland, one for Mountain Training England. They are separate positions.**



Mountain Training UK and Ireland is Recruiting an Independent Non-Executive Director

As part of our commitment to a diverse and skilled board, we are seeking individuals who can bring expertise or knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
  • Inclusion, diversity, equity
  • Branding, brand recognition and protection
  • Business finance and strategy
  • Commercial and/or partnership development
The board particularly welcomes applications from candidates from underrepresented groups including women, people from BAME communities and people who consider themselves to have a disability. Mountain Training UK and Ireland operates an equal opportunities policy.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate some experience of:
  • working on or with committees
  • organisational governance
  • commercial or non-profit organisations
  • working in one or more of the specialist areas listed above.

Mountain Training England

Mountain Training England is Recruiting a Non-Executive Director

Mountain Training England is seeking to recruit a new non-executive director to join its seven person board. The board consists of a mix of independent directors and directors with sector-related knowledge and experience. In this round of recruitment we are interested to receive applications from:
  • People with experience of the adventure activities sector.
  • People with experience of not for profit organisations outside of the adventure activities sector.
  • People with legal experience or experience of contract law.
  • People with safeguarding expertise.
The board particularly welcomes applications from candidates from underrepresented groups including women, people from BAME communities and people who consider themselves to have a disability.
