Leave No Trace Trainer workshop
On a very sunny March weekend in North Wales, MTA members were out in force making the most of the first MTA Leave No Trace Trainer workshop, hosted by
Life Trek Adventures
, a Snowdonia based company run by Sebastien Shingler and Heidi Schwenk.
Seb and Heidi are experienced Leave No Trace Master Educators dedicated to delivering Leave No Trace ethics in the form of Trainer Courses and Awareness Workshops across the UK. These courses focus on experiential delivery of the 7 principles and framework for Leave No Trace, in addition to considering the professional and personal outdoor ethics of UK based practitioners. All courses include active participation from participants, peer feedback process, activities, sessions and discussion.
This two-day Trainer course includes 6 months’ membership to Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics as certified Leave No Trace Trainers able to deliver Awareness Workshops in addition to 2 CPD points recognised by the Mountain Training Association.
The feedback from our members speaks volumes ...
